Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven Beach is located in the Whitsundays Island. The crystal clear aqua waters and pristine silica sand of Whitehaven stretch over seven kilometres along Whitsunday , the largest of various islands in the Whitsundays. Not only Whitehaven beach is demanded for its sense of relaxation and escapism but also defines the astonishing beauty of nature at its best.
At the northern end of Whitehaven Beach is Hill Inlet, a stunning cove where the tide shifts the sand and water to create a beautiful fusion of colours. As the tide shifts, the white silica sand and turquoise shades of the inlet blend seamlessly to create a breathtaking view of swirling Whitsunday colours.
How to get there
Tours to Whitehaven Beach can be taken from Airlie Beach or several of the Whitsunday islands. Airlie Beach is located 1115km north of Brisbane and accessed by air, rail and road.
